This is something I got from the net. Its quite amusing... and quite true.

There is much more going on in our world than what meets the eye. Even though we do have serious crimes that are being committed, there are many that are funny. These peculiar crimes are committed by strange people who don't know what fools they are making of themselves. There are small robberies and other occurrences that aren't normally reported in the major newspapers, but they do occur. One criminal robbed a bank in New York. Four days later, he was feeling especially cocky, so he went back to the SAME bank that he had robbed and attempted to open an account. Needless to say, they recognized him and he was arrested. There was another man in Wisconsin who went to a Wal-Mart and stole medication, batteries, a toy, a pellet pistol and a phone. After he was caught, the police kept all the stolen items as evidence. The man really wanted the items that he had worked so hard to get, so he went back to the police station where they were and broke in through a window. He then tried to retrieve the previously stolen items; it didn't work. He was caught (hmm…I wonder why?) and arrested with additional charges against him. There was one case in which a burglar broke into a house while the family was on vacation and fell asleep. When the neighbor came into the house to water the plants, he heard snoring and went upstairs and found the burglar asleep in the bed. The police were then called and he was taken away. These dumb criminals don't only live in the United States, this occurs all over the world. There was a man in Belgium who stole a sewing machine from a shop. When he realized that the machine didn't have a needle and a manual, he went back to the shop carrying the machine in his hands and asked for the missing items. Once again, needless to say, the staff recognized the stolen machine and he was arrested immediately. Despite the fact that they are criminals, some prove to be somewhat intelligent. There was a man, who walked into a dealership wearing a business suit and carrying a laptop. He then asked the staff if his Porsche was ready. This man wasn't the real owner, but the dealership didn't realize this. So they handed him the keys to the brand new $125,00 Porsche and he drove away in it. The real owner showed up a half an hour later and asked for his convertible. That's when the staff realized their mistake, but it was too late because the man was already gone. He still hasn't been found. There are also crazy new inventions and businesses being made. There is a computer dating service that helps find the perfect partners for male orangutans. So if you know of an orangutan that is looking for a partner, go online and you can find the perfect mate for him. They even help find mistresses for the orangutans, since they normally leave their partners once they have had babies. Two students at a university in Australia invented the first ever pedal powered washing machine. This machine doesn't need electricity or water. There is also this new grossology exhibit in a museum in Chicago. This exhibit is for children. They learn about all the bodily functions here such as throwing up, pooping, and peeing. They can go through a nose that sneezes on people, a burp machine that people can pump air into which then releases a loud burp, and a slide for the kids that drops them onto a poo poo mat. Each of the stations has information about the body and some interesting facts. There are many more things going on in this world that are just plain funny. Robberies aren't always scary or terrible; they can prove to be quite funny because of the stupidity of the criminal. There are also many things that are being invented right now that are a little out of the norm, but hey, Einstein was a little out of the norm and look what he got us!
