Went down to esplanade on sat with mishtudi and rinkudi to catch the afro-cuban allstars perform. Though not really my kind of music, i thought it might be enjoyable to spend some time with the two di's after so long. And it was fun! We chatted and laughed for most of an hour during dinner befotre heading for the concert.

The concert was different. I didn't really know what to expect, but I certainly didn't expect what i got!
That energy from the 17 man band was amazing! They got almost the whole crowd dancing to the latin beats! Amazing! People were doing crazy things. Some were really good, others were, well, ...

Anyway, its gotten me inspired to learn latin and ballroom dancing.
Now if only i had the time!

Anyway, this was followed by drinks at chijmes, were we were joined by soumyo. Never met this guy before, but he seems pretty nice. We all were chatting again (seem to be doing that a lot), and having peach sangria at Laviva. We were sitting al fresco, and they had a band playing inside, who were doing the covers of various songs. They were pretty good. At about 1130, my parents came to join us, and as usual, my father took over the story telling. His life is a novel, and he was teling us about some of the unusual experiences that he had had. Heard them before , but they still got us allme included) laughing till tears formed in our eyes.

Finally, went home at 1+ , woke up at 1130 wit a headache, and basically wasted the weekend away!

I'm so gonna die this week! :P
